Yoga of AwarenessFor alleviating menopausal symptoms
|
Yoga of Awareness is an innovative course that can help in managing menopausal symptoms and stress, and in living life more fruitfully. Participants who have completed this course in recent studies at Duke University Medical Center have reported:
Yoga means "yoking" or "union". Far more than a mere exercise program, true yoga teaches the art of finding our balance and keeping our poise amidst the tumult of life's ever-changing challenges. Each class includes practice of gentle stretching exercises, meditation, and breathing exercises. The instructors originally developed this course as a mind/body medicine program for cancer survivors experiencing hot flashes, however, this version of the course will be designed for any women struggling with menopause, be they cancer survivors or not. Group sizes are limited and pre-registration is required. Please register as soon as possible. Click here to register online now. Group sizes are limited and pre-registration is required.
