Women’s Health Student Interest Group (WHIG)
This group plans activities targeted to students interested in women’s health including: noon-time presentations on various women’s health topics and a mentoring program which includes shadowing experiences and career guidance.

Mentoring of Girls and Teens
AWSEM
Advocates for Women in Science, Engineering and Mathematics (AWSEM) is a science and math advocacy program for girls in middle and high schools. Our mission is to inspire middle and high school girls to pursue education and careers in science, engineering, mathematics and technology fields. AWSEM is a pre-college program of Portland State University in collaboration with OHSU.
