OHSU has a broad spectrum of basic science research with applications in women’s health, including National Institute of Health (NIH) funded and foundation-supported projects.

CoE Director: Eric Orwoll, M.D.

OHSU’s efforts in clinical research range from translation from the lab to the bedside (including clinical trials), to addressing existing and emerging trends in women’s health (including population-based studies).

CoE Director: Jeanne-Marie Guise, M.D., M.P.H.

OHSU has a well-established health services research agenda in women’s health, including evidence-based obstetrics, long and short term consequences of childbirth, childbirth decision making, patient safety in obstetrics and vaginal birth after cesarean.
