Women's Health Conference a Great Success
It was an enthusisastic crowd of 1400 on April 22 at the Oregon Convention Center for the 11th annual OHSU Women's Health Conference. This extraordinary day was the result of an ongoing partnership between the Center for Women's Health and the community.
 
The conference featured keynote speakers Pepper Schwartz, M.A., Ph.D., who spoke on Revitalizing Sexuality for Mental and Physical Health, and Erika Schuster, M.D. who discussed The Health Benefits of Chocolate.
They were joined by a group of the top women's health experts in the northwest. The complete 64-page Conference Resource Guide, which is chock full of useful information, is now available online as a .pdf. In addition, Cable30 TV is broadcasting all the morning speakers and selected afternoon presentations. A complete list of Resource Guide links will be posted next.
Designated a National Center of Excellence in Women's Health, the OHSU Center for Women's Health is pioneering a new era in women's health care for the state and the region. Through exciting new research, expanding education programs and the creation of meaningful wellness and health care models, we are setting the bar for excellence in health care for women.
