Pacific Northwest Pilates was established in 2001 by three dynamic women that bring accumulative knowledge to the Studios including Professional Dance, Dance Educator and Physical Therapy. PNWP specializes in teaching the STOTT PILATES method offering Private and Group session along with being a licensed STOTT PILATES certification center. Classes are offered at studios both in Portland and Vancouver

The Yoga Project, a community oriented studio in Sellwood, offers Yoga for the Female Spirit, a class inspired by the teachings of Angela Farmer and Mary Paffard which uses deep belly work to energize and empower women. The Yoga Project also offers two classes of Yoga for the Larger Woman, using props to adapt poses to the person, and a full program of prenatal and postnatal yoga.
