May 2008

It’s been a busy year so far
for the Women’s Health Research Unit

We are particularly excited about the number of studies we have opened that are inspired by the work conducted on a daily basis by OHSU physicians. This is work fueled by daily interactions and observations between our doctors and their patients. And we currently have an excellent opportunity for you to be a part of one of these studies.  It’s a great way to promote women’s health, to get involved with our unit, and earn a little pocket money.

We are evaluating the effect Celebrex may have on the length of a woman’s menstrual cycle.  Qualifying participants in this 3-month study may receive blood tests, compensation, and study drug.  We are looking for healthy women aged 18-35 with regular menstrual cycles and not currently using hormonal contraception (IRB #3854).

Eligible participants will be paid $420 upon the completion of the study.

Call us now to learn about these and other exciting opportunities!  The number for our confidential recruitment line is 503 494-3666

Please do not respond to this email.  All inquiries should go directly to our recruitment line, and we’ll be happy to answer your questions.
