Questions about participating in an Clinical Trials
How will I benefit from participating in an OHSU study?
There are a number of ways you may benefit from participating in one of the trials conducted by the Women's Health Research Unit. You may receive therapeutic study drugs at no cost to you, as well as study related well woman exams associated with each study. In addition, many studies will also compensate you monetarily upon your completion of the study.
And, importantly, your participation in studies is a part of the future of healthcare. Without research participants, we simply cannot conduct the research, and this makes it very difficult to improve public health. This has an impact not only for our generation and our community. Study results have a direct impact on how healthcare is delivered on a national, and international level. Your participation is a part of ensuring high quality healthcare for generations of women to come
Am I eligible?
